It looks very much as if, instead of having to build a new home, we'll be allowed to convert the ground floor of the current home (which is actually an office building). That saves us a lot of money. A new building had been estimated at 250,000 €, while the state building authority estimated the conversion (including fencing the grounds) at 65,000 €. We're working on it and very much hope that the building authority will cover most of the cost itself.
